We utilize best-in-breed WiFi equipment and manage bandwidth based on a number of devices, not units or property size. With IoT (internet of things) becoming popular, and demand for streaming content, let us seamlessly manage bandwidth to ensure each device is able to connect.
We offer most of the common types of configurations available today. Customers have the choice of level of security, welcome screen (portal page) branding, free-to-guest model (FTG), and tiered structured models, and bandwidth levels.
Yes, many of our customers utilize WPA2 encryption; the highest level of wireless Internet security available today. For customers that elect to have an “open” network, we still use a security measure known as client isolation so one user on the network cannot see and detect other users on the network. For even greater flexibility, many customer locations also have a wired connection available to plug into or install your own wireless router just for your use. For existing customers, see upgrades available at your location.
Speeds will vary as each location is contracted individually and set to the package selected. Bandwidth speed is generally measured in megabits per second (Mbps).
Yes, if your location has WPA2 encryption, simply enter the WiFi key in your settings. If your location has a Welcome Screen (portal page) and your device doesn’t have a browser to enter the password, we can bypass your mac address. For help finding your mac address, view these instructional videos:
